Charity Shop Donation

Following the successful opening of our Meeting Point Charity Shop in the County Hotel donations continue to be made each month to local charities. On July 19th a cheque for £60 was presented to Anne Stocks, Co-ordinator for the Skegness, Spilsby & Alford Branch of Cats Protection, our charity for June, by the Rev'd Ian Banks and Lay Leader, Mr Peter Newsome on behalf of the Skegness Community Church of the Nazarene.

Members of the Skegness and District Branch of the Burma Star Association were invited to a coffee morning in the Hotel hosted by the Skegness Community Church of the Nazarene. During the morning a cheque for £60 was presented to the Hon President, Mr Reg Bower, by our Minister, the Reverend Ian Banks who is Padre to the local branch.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of the branch Anne said, 'The branch is delighted to have been chosen. Fundraising is difficult in the current economic climate and so a surprise donation such as this is always extremely appreciated'.
