Church of the Nazarene East Lincolnshire
Book of Remembrance

From the early days Christians have set apart particular areas or buildings and dedicated them to the glory of God and for the use of God’s people. It is a practice which is rooted in the Bible. The Temple in Jerusalem offers us the clearest example of a place specially built for worship.

This doesn’t mean that God’s presence is confined to a particular building nor should we presume that the provision of a sanctuary guarantees God’s blessing and protection, that comes through faithful and obedient living. It follows then that all that we provide inside the building, or outside for that matter, is also special and so we are providing a place within our meeting places where we can specifically remember departed loved ones.

Part of the facility will be a Book of Remembrance and you are invited to include in that book someone dear to you. Please complete the section below and return it to me or one of the leaders. Yours in the service of Christ
