District Superintendent Visits Skegness

On Sunday September 20 the District Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene South District, the Rev'd David Montgomery, visited Skegness with his wife Alison. David preached at our Sunday morning service on the theme of the 'God of Second Chances'. David used the example of characters from both the Old and New Testament such as Jonah and Peter, amongst others, to illustrate his theme. Also joining us that morning was a member of David and Alison's home church, Leeds South, who just happened to be on holiday in Skegness. Craig was asked by David to tell us a little of his own personal testimony of how his life had been turned around for the better after he became involved with the church in Leeds and allowed Jesus into his life. Craig was a living testimony of how the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is indeed the 'God of Second Chances'.

David and Alison enjoyed their stay in Skegness and even treated themselves to a fish and chip supper on the Saturday evening.
