Church helps celebrate a 79th Birthday
Ian, Norman and Keith
At our meeting in Sibsey Village Hall on August 9th, 2009 we helped celebrate the 79th birthday of one of our congregation, Norman Vinter, whose birthday was on the previous Friday. Norman blew out the candles on a birthday cake as we all sung happy birthday to him. Our Pastor, the Rev'd Ian Banks prayed for Norman and said we all look forward to helping him celebrate his 80th next year. Norman lives with his sister in the village and used to be a steward at the Methodist Church in Sibsey. In fact Norman has previously experienced worship in the Village Hall when the Methodists met there for some four years after their Chapel closed in 1996.
